For a very long time, certainly exceeding one thousand years, the people in Asia have been drinking green tea for pleasure and health. But the word has spread far and wide about this amazingly healthy plant, even though not all of the possibilities are known. The scientific research and medical community has shown positive evidence for this tea’s ability to provide relief or possibly prevention (and maybe ‘cures’) for particular medical conditions. This food can be ingested as a tea or as simply a capsule form of supplement. This little plant can really help you to heal yourself and remain healthy. If you want to follow the traditions of countries like China and Japan, you can simply enjoy green tea as a hot beverage. However, you can also make a delicious iced tea from it for the summer months. Still, if you prefer to just “take it,” then you can easily find the supplement capsules in different dosages. If the caffeine is an issue, then you can get decaf green tea, but you’ll be losing the natural stimulant properties for weight loss. You can always just drink the decaffeinated from in the evening so you won’t be too wired to sleep. Those are just ideas, and you are the only one who knows the best thing to do for you. As you can see, a lot has already been discovered about the amazing health benefits of green tea. And this is such a versatile food because you can use it and consume it in a variety of creative ways. If taking a capsule works better for you than making and drinking tea, then you can do that quite easily with green tea. Ok, so how much do you need to extract the healthy benefits? You can and should perform additional research, but a good place to start is about two or three cups of healthy green tea a day. For the reasons mentioned above, you may want to consider making green tea a regular part of your diet.
The benefits of green tea are enormous and powerful, and who knows what else will become known about it. If you want to start taking it, you have a choice of drinking tea or finding a good green tea supplement. Of course you need to take it regularly so you can experience all the benefits.
