Old foods and old flavors can become boring very easily. When you have been using the same recipe all the time, your family and friends will become tired of eating those dishes and delicacies you prepare. An easy way to do this is to add a slight orange flavoring, which can be done by adding either a dash or orange juice or a little bit of orange peel.
In order to add something different to a fruit or salad dish you can add some sprigs of navel orange peel. While some guests may not wish to eat the navel orange peel, it will certainly give the dish an attractive appearance. Sometimes your guests will not be as concerned about flavor as they are about appearance; if they see something that looks different, they are more inclined to try it just because it is new. The same holds true for your family—they will become bored of your cooking if you serve the same dishes the same way all the time.
