What is autism and what cause it

What is autism? Autism is a developmental disorder that affects neurological development and capacity of the brain, especially the ability that has to do with speech and social activity. This is a permanent condition but modest effort, treatment and continued medication, it can do something to enhance the current condition but the result is unguaranteed. One main concern of parents with kids who have autism is how to understand them, as some kids with this disorder are unable to speak. However, what could cause autism? Well, there are some known answers to this question that puzzles most parents. Especially for parents who didn’t have any autistic family member on their side to pass the disorder to their kids.

Well, some of the factors that could cause autism is first, through genetic and also through exposure to certain toxic. However, as there is no definite answer to this question, autism is often referred to as idiopathic or without known cause. It is not a condition that can be blamed to bad parenting such as parents being unable to communicate often with their child and some theory of physicians from years back that have been proved and corrected today. It is a unique disorder that could be genetic and due to certain food eaten during pregnancy.

Till now, we can’t pinpoint exactly what causes autism to develop on one child but at least we know it is not a result of bad parenting. Some parents’ main concern regarding their kid is the future their kid will have, whether the child will have a good and secured future. For parents who had kids with autism and were unable to speak, they long to hear their child talk to them or even just call them mom or dad. Be able to tell them directly what they want, when they want to eat, where they want to go, what they want to do, lot of things that most normal kids do. As most kids with autism seems to have a world of his own, could not properly express his thoughts, message and his feelings. However, despite their kids condition, for some parents’ one smile coming from their child is enough to lighten the burden they feel inside.
